I'm Tim.

Profile

I am a designer with over 13 years of experience in the industry. My main goal is to produce exceptional work. I am passionate about delivering design of the highest quality. I started as a sign shop worker, gaining expertise in successfully crafting designs that not only possess aesthetic appeal but also fulfill a functional purpose. Good design, to me, is the ability to solve a business problem while retaining elements of beauty and intrigue.

Experience

Cineplex
Senior Graphic Designer (June 2024- Present)

Contracted through Creative Circle, I am working with Cineplex on a contractual basis to create graphics for them and their subsidiaries including but not limited to, The Rec Room and Playdium.

Volaris Group
Senior Designer (Apr 2021- Mar 2024)

During my tenure at Volaris Group, I focused on expanding brand reach, achieving a notable 20% year-over-year growth performance. I revisited existing assets to improve it's mobile experience and enhanced UX/UI design. Through conducting a UX research project to understand the main pain points, I developed a comprehensive design system into Figma, complete with prototypes in various screen resolutions.

My achievements while working at Volaris:

  • 60% increase in brand recognition

  • Volaris outpaces Harris (competitor) in brand mentions by 18%

  • Volaris surpasses Vista Equity Partners (competitor) in brand mentions by 206%

  • 20% year over year market growth

  • 20,000 verified qualified web leads

I actively contributed to the design and the experience of the websites across all 250 companies in their portfolios. Whether that was doing design reviews, wireframing, prototyping, creative direction, or the actual craft itself I made sure to give as much support and guidance to our portfolios and teams as I could. Additionally, I directly supported the graphic needs of Volaris portfolios, offering guidance throughout the organization on proper brand utilization. Notably, I coined the company's official slogan, "Forever Invested."

Furthermore, our team spearheaded an advertising project with the Wall Street Journal. I was responsible for the creative advertising and the messaging for this campaign as well as securing a platform for an article highlighting Volaris and targeting it's prospects who utilize the platform.
